ABSTRACT

Kemangi (Ocimum basilicum L.) be multifunction plant was develop in Indonesia. This research to know information about standardization parameters from kemangi leaf (Ocimum basilicum L.) extract including water content, ash content, water-soluble ash content, acid- insoluble ash content, specific gravity, water-soluble extractives, alcohol-soluble extractives, was carried out. Value of standardization parameters from kemangi leaf extract Bandung are 9,5%, 4,68%, 82,86%, 1,47%, 0,82, 4,33%, 64,33%, kemangi leaf extract Cianjur are 9,83%, 7,78%, 93,37%, 2,08%, 0,85, 22,33%, 53,00%, and kemangi leaf extract Solo are 13,67%, 9,98%, 92,59%, 5,95%, 0,87, 41,67%, 49,67%.Phytochemical filtering to kemangi (Ocimum basilicum L) leaf could be found that metabolite compound contained in it was flavonoid, tanin, steroid, and saponin. Volatile oil content in kemangi leaf for 0,132%. GC-MS result on the third samples showed there are linalool with content was on kemangi leaf extract Bandung for about 2,62%, Cianjur 19,85% and Solo 27,80%.
